It looks as if Cape Cod is expected to recieve tropical storm conditions Friday night into Saturday but it could change.

Evacuations of Ocracoke Island started at sunrise today. All visitors to Hatteras Island have been ordered to evacuate. Once the majority have headed off to the north or west they may evacuate residents. There aren't many ways to get off Ocracoke, just a ferry to Hatteras.
